Energy Discovery Centre

The Energy Discovery Center, established in 1999 by the City of Tallinn, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Enefit, and Utilitas, operates under the Tallinn Technology and Science Foundation.

Our mission is to inspire children and young people to explore the natural and exact sciences (STEAM) and to contribute to developing the next generation of engineers in Estonia.

The Energy Discovery Center serves as a vibrant hub where young people can unlock their potential in science and engineering. Visitors can experience hands-on exhibitions, a planetarium, interactive masterclasses, extracurricular programmes in robotics and space technology, science communication events, and live science theatre. We also offer study programmes for schools and kindergartens, host the EnerHUB incubator for Junior Achievement student companies, and organize engaging science hackathons.

As part of the TalTech Researchers’ Night, the Energy Discovery Center plays an active role in bringing science closer to the public. We are also proud members of the Nordic Science Centre Association, European Space Agency education network in Estonia ESERO, and the Estonian Association of Science Education.
