During the holidays and the first week of January is a good time to see a Planetarium screening at the Centre. From December 25 till January 6 2019, tickets to screenings are only 1 €.

The Planetarium programme features two 20-25-minute films: “Stardust and Sun Family” is about our Solar System and “Treasures of the Layered Earth” takes viewers inside the Earth itself.

Tickets for the screenings are bought in addition to regular entrance to the Centre. In addition to English, films are screened also in Estonian, Russian, and Finnish. Please ask the Ticket Desk about screening times and languages.

Energy Discovery Centre’s opening hours during the holidays and early January (more info here):

December 24 the Centre is closed.

December 25 & 26 the Centre is open from 12:00 till 17:00.

December 27 the Centre is open from 10:00 till 16:00.

December 31 the Centre is open from 10:00 till 16:00.

January 1 the Centre is open from 12:00 till 17:00.

January 6 the Centre is open from 11:00–19:00 as usual. But as we’re hosting a special event, the Centre is busier than usual until the early afternoon. For a more relaxed atmosphere, please visit the Centre from 15:00 onwards.
