The Energy Discovery Centre is proud to share that a team Kiryak participating in the EnerHUB engineering incubation programme has achieved the title of Estonia’s best student company. This is a remarkable accomplishment that highlights the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and strong potential of young people as future innovators.

The title of Best Student Company was awarded to Kiryak, which developed a smudge-proof and moisture-resistant writing instrument. The team consists of students Loore Lee Allmaa, Elisabeth Tagobert, and Tuuli Hanson from Pärnu Koidula Gymnasium and Tallinn Secondary School of Science.

Their success was driven by a self-developed special metal alloy that leaves a mark on paper without using ink.

The winner will represent Estonia at Europe’s largest entrepreneurship festival, GEN-E 2026.

This year has been particularly exciting, as six student teams from the EnerHUB programme reached the TOP 30 in the Junior Achievement Estonia student company competition held last week: Kiryak, Chargity, VOOL, Neutra, Grippy Shoes, and Kick&Go. Their success clearly demonstrates the importance of practical and inspiring entrepreneurship education for young people.

The EnerHUB incubation programme will continue in the new season. This autumn, a new opportunity will open for student teams, mentors, instructors, and partners who wish to contribute to the development of future entrepreneurs.
