Science After Dark 16+: NEON VOLTAGE Brings Neon Lights, Tesla Sparks, and a Nighttime Science Adventure to Tallinn
On July 9, the Energy Discovery Centre will transform for one night into an immersive entertainment venue filled with neon lights, music, and cutting-edge technology. The evening special event, Science After Dark: NEON VOLTAGE, is designed for visitors aged 16 and over, combining science, high technology, and nightlife into one unforgettable experience.
Guests can explore Neon Body Art, a UV-reactive body painting zone where fluorescent makeup glows under black light, and capture the atmosphere in a selfie area featuring fun distortion mirrors. Adding to the excitement is Neon Maze – a secret quest set inside a dark mirror labyrinth, where participants must find their way out while solving a series of challenges.
Technology enthusiasts can cheer on teams competing in Drone Football, an exciting 2×2 drone football tournament with prizes for the winners. One of the highlights of the evening is Tesla Sound – a spectacular Tesla coil lightning show, where electrical arcs are synchronized with club beats. The Energy Discovery Centre is renowned for its Tesla coil demonstrations, allowing visitors to experience the power of high-voltage electricity in a safe and engaging environment.
Guests can also enjoy glowing UV cocktails at the Cryo Bar, followed by a 90-minute Neon Disco that will fill the Lightning Hall with powerful music and dazzling neon lights.
